Draw a Character ContestI am offering a free, signed copy of The Kingdom of Malinas, by me, to the winner. All you have to do is draw a character from the book. To really get to know the characters you can download the ebook http://stores.lulu.com/em_j But I will also give some character descriptions. Obviously, if you've read the book you can draw whoever you like. If not, you can choose from the characters below:
Sorrel: Main character. 16, boyish looks. Thin, with short dark hair and a single small star-shaped birthmark under her right eye. She wears simple clothing (bearing in mind that this is a typical fantasy story, with a medieval-type setting) and a wide leather belt around her waist. She has a broadsword, but no scabbard. She's stubborn and wild and fiercely loyal.
